🍁For the first time in 16 years I’m getting to experience the fall season first hand and it is magical.
Processing the changes of a cross-country move involves a lot of nuance, something the internet is particularly horrible at. I’ll get back to posting more as life solidifies.
🐝 Amazingly beautiful day at the Plymouth, MI fall festival. We soaked in the sun while shopping through the local artists’ booths. We probably didn’t need to cap out day off with a burger but they were so tasty.
Journaling in the shade of the trees. Moving has broken nearly every old routine and loosened many thoughts and feelings that need to be sorted through. Such dramatic change is an opportunity for growth that I don’t want to squander.
Our last evening in Florida. The usual half-hour afternoon thunderstorm finished and we’ve crammed our cars with our remaining belongings. There’s nothing left to do but try and get sleep for the two day drive to Michigan.
With the generous help of friends and family, we managed to pack all of our worldly possessions into small-ish shipping containers for transport. Now we prep ourselves for the cross country trek to Michigan.
