Can’t help but share sunrises when they are this good looking.
The firebird must have been released from its cage this morning as cotton candy colors intensely saturated the clouds. Its passing was short but I was glad to witnesss and enjoy it.
Monday’s glorious snows are melting tonight. Everything a patchwork of ice and bare patches. The only ones happy are drivers along the roads.
The ugliest photo of a most beautiful sunset. The colors in the sky were so intensely blue and pink that the camera sensor couldn’t cope with them all. The disgusting HDR outlined trees, the loss of textures, the dark foreground… sometimes the camera you have with you isn’t up to the task.
So happy to have more bird friends stopping by to take advantage of the winter berries behind our house. It makes the winter less bleak to have them fluttering about.
The kid’s school has been cancelled for a second day due to single-digit temperatures. Walking out to get our mail quickly had me agreeing with their decision.
Our local birds (apparently, starlings) made the most of the sun with today’s single-digit temperatures.
