Videos are everywhere, we cannot stop to breathe and think. But a photo makes us pause. We cannot consume photos without pausing, even if it is for a intangible split-second.
While the systems we took for granted collapse around us, my response has been to go into the world and re-learn art with other artists. It’s humbling to dive into my weaknesses but hope and human connection blossom during the struggles of creating together. Love is in community, not commodity.
