Met a peacock this weekend and immediately thought of how they wake @maique’s family up all the time.

Sheep are usually thought of as cute but I couldn’t help feeling creeped out by this guy. After this photo he kept staring, hooked his horns into the fencing, and slowly pushed his face further and further into the wire with quiet grunting noises. A disconcerting experience.

We visited a local farm today and met a Highland Coo taking a break from the sun in the shadow of the barn.

Even though I’m across the country, I can always count on spotting birds of prey. (My wife tells me this is a Merlin Falcon which makes it much cooler! 🧙‍♂️) He, or she, wasn’t around very long but I managed to catch a photo under the Japanese maple.

Journaling in the shade of the trees. Moving has broken nearly every old routine and loosened many thoughts and feelings that need to be sorted through. Such dramatic change is an opportunity for growth that I don’t want to squander.
