Missives from the dark forest.
The sunset dipped lower into golden hour and the neighborhood quieted. The daytime animals and insects used the remaining light to settle themselves for the evening.
I met one of the new baby hawks on a walk yesterday. Totally fearless about us walking under her. I wish Iād had my real camera with me but it was close enough to capture this with my phone.
Tonight is looking more tropical than usual so we took a walk to appreciate the saturated sky.
