After 20 months and 83 sessions, my group ended our third D&D campaign. During that time, one member got his drivers license, I moved across the country, another sold the house he had built, and our DM became pregnant with her first child. It’s more than just a game.

Mastodon seems so cool but it really has to get past the thick wall of techie bullshit you have to learn just to try and participate. I’m betting most people read, “join an instance,” and close the browser tab.

It’s a banner day for Dot: I shared a bit of my tuna with her and she found a warm sunny spot. She didn’t move until the sun did.

I can only hope to be as vibrant and impactful when my time comes.
